Lumb Clough Bridge

On the 22nd December 2023 notices were placed by North Yorkshire Council informing of the closure of the Bridleway at the bridge off Hall Drive, entrance to Lumb Clough.

On the 21st December during a storm a tree fell on to the bridge completely obliterating it.

North Yorkshire Council have contacted the landowner of the fallen tree and have instructed them to remove it.

A new bridge is in the process of being designed. It will then be a matter of when funding is available to have it replaced.
